Thistle & Door

One of my favorite images. I made this one shortly after reading some of Wynn Bullock's philosophical thoughts. It formed a basis for a lot of what I did later. It picks up the narrative of plants and the human figure and the ephemerality of existence. All of those here will perish at some point in time and will be replaced (I hope, if we don't destroy our planet) with others.
